Sofia Vlahakos

Sofia Vlahakos is an associate at The Rainwater Firm. A native Houstonian, Sofia graduated from Memorial High School and later received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religion from Miami University. After graduating, she moved back home to Houston where she attended the University of Houston Law Center. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2023. Sofia worked as a legal assistant at the Rainwater Firm in 2018 and then as a law clerk in her third year of law school before joining the firm as an associate in 2023.

While attending law school, Sofia gained experience as a student attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic, where she began representing clients in divorce and child custody matters. Sofia also completed mediation certification while in law school and had the opportunity to mediate different civil matters through the Mediation Clinic at the University of Houston Law Center.
